Meet kara
Kara is a sweet girl who would be happier as an only dog. She loves humans and is instant best friends with anyone with food. She has excellent manners and is fine at home by herself for multiple hours. She doesn't demand a lot and loves lying on the couch snuggling with people. As she has gotten older she is no longer getting along with our 4 other pets. Vet exam did reveal hip arthritis and hypothyroidism but medicating hasn't helped her issues with the other pets. She doesn't show any outward signs of the arthritis and walks up/down stairs and jumps onto the couch fine. She is reactive to stranger dogs and has bitten before, although many years ago now and predictable circumstances but she shouldn't be in a home with small children. She would make someone happy who just wants a low maintenance couch buddy and isn't splitting their attention among multiple animals.
