Meet norm
Norm was brought into our lives at 9 weeks old from a shelter and has been a good boy for the last few years. He has an "eeyore" like personality, loves snuggles, his big red herding ball, swimming, fetch, and FOOD. Norm is extremely trainable and food motivated and can walk quite nicely on a slip lead figure 8 attached leash.
We are heartbroken that we need to rehome Norm because he really only has one behavior issue - he has shown signs of resource guarding around our 13 month old child. He has not shown aggression, just warning communication through growl/snarled lip and we're playing it safe. We have done training and he comes with lifetime support from Dog Wizard. He's familiar with training that can redirect him from poor behavior.
Norm should be in a home without children, with a fenced yard, and can be with other dogs, pending introduction. He should be in a relaxed home with predictable routine. He will make the most loyal companion to someone looking for a really good boy.
