When Venus first entered the shelter, she was incredible sweet, and incredibly shy. But with some TLC from staff and volunteers, Venus has broken out of her shell completely, and is playing with its pieces! She is a total fiend for cuddles and a good game of tug. Venus adores meeting new people, and has been super friendly with other dogs in our care! While this sweet little peanut clearly had a rough start, she could not be brought down by her past. She is living her new life to its fullest, and is excited for her next big upgrade--living in YOUR home! Meet Venus and start getting the best snuggles of your life!

Housebroken: Working on it! They're doing well on a schedule but will have occasional accidents in the home.

Crate-trained: Unknown! They have never been crated while in our care.

Leash behavior: Good! They enjoy walks and are easy to handle while on leash.

Dog sociability: They like them! They enjoy the company of dog friends, but would be just as happy to be an only dog in the home.

Cat sociability: Unknown! They have never met a cat while in our care.

Kid sociability: Unknown! They have never met children while in our care.

Likes: Soft voices, soft blankies, delicious treats, going gremlin mode with her friends

Dislikes: Loud noises, being denied her snuggles
