Meet mario
Mario’s (right/black) story almost ended before it had the chance to begin again. He was rescued just in time from a shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized—but now he’s safe and starting over.
Mario was surrendered by his previous family when they could no longer afford to care for him. Having come from a home, the shelter environment was especially overwhelming. Everything familiar disappeared overnight, leaving him understandably scared and unsure.
He is a small boy at around 20 pounds, incredibly adorable, and was rescued alongside his brother, Luigi. Mario is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and will be fully vetted. He was also recently groomed and is being cared for as he begins to decompress.
Right now, Mario just needs time, patience, and a loving environment to help him feel safe again. Beneath his fear is a sweet, loyal companion who deserves a second chance at happiness.
Mario is available for adoption and is also in need of a foster in NJ/NY/PA.
