Meet thelma

Meet adorable Miss Thelma….a precious 5-6 year old Chihuahua mix, weighing 9 pounds. She came to Needy Paws Rescue after being found abandoned in a home with several other small dogs. Thelma is very sweet and friendly and loving, and she is the best little snuggle bug. Because she was found abandoned, she has some fear and anxiety of being left alone. Therefore, Thelma requires a home where someone is home a lot, and also a home with another small young playful dog(s) for companionship. A secure fenced yard is required as she does not know how to walk on a leash. Thelma is healthy, current on her immunizations, heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and she has just recently had her teeth cleaned. If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Thelma’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
