Meet lola
Around here, we call her Bubbles.
Officially she’s Lola, but give this girl a bubble machine and you’ll understand the nickname. The chase is ON! And if there aren't bubbles available, a squeaky ball will do just fine. Lola loves them and will happily carry one everywhere she goes.
Lola came to us in June with her seven puppies. Her babies are growing up, and now we would really love to find Mama a family of her own.
At about a year old and 40 pounds, Lola is a fun, affectionate Shepherd mix who loves other dogs. She isn't just dog friendly—she's a wrestler and loves a canine friend who is ready to play.
Lola is also incredibly loyal to her people. She can be cautious with strangers and needs a slow introduction, but she takes her cues from the people she trusts. Once she knows you're comfortable with someone, she can be too. And when you're one of her people? This girl loves to snuggle and absolutely lives for lap time.
Lola is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment. She is doing well and showing no symptoms.
She's playful. She's loyal. She's a lap dog in a 40-pound body. And watching her chase bubbles is guaranteed entertainment.
Lola has done wonderfully at our adoption events and gets plenty of attention. Now we need someone to look at Bubbles and decide she's the one they want to take home.
