Meet mo
*Mo is currently in foster in Puerto Rico. His $400 adoption fee covers his vetting to date (neutering as well) and travel to his adoptive home. Apply today!*
Meet Mo, the most cuddly German Shepherd mix you've met in awhile. :) He leans into hugs and is such a sweet boy. He is a major people pleaser; he LOVES kids, and all humans. He has had mixed interactions with other dogs and should not be with cats, therefore he is best suited to be an only animal in the home due to his survival instincts learned on the streets. Although he was abandoned, he has been vetted to great overall good health after making his way around "his new block" while neighbors fed and watered him until PRDF could take on his case. He is an adventurous, friendly, happy gentleman when running the block on his leash. Although Mo was not showing any symptoms, he had tested HW+, so we completed his 3 month treatment and he's now ready to go. He has been a trooper during the quiet periods HW treatment requires, and really looks forward to his outside time. At the end of April, he was be medically cleared to start romping and playing again safely! So, he got to go to Michele's house and be a foster dog in a REAL home... he's so happy!
Mo would be great for an active home, as German Shepherds / larger medium dogs need that exercise and stimulation. We think he is around 6 years old, and has a lot of love and life ahead of him. Make Mo part of your family!
