Meet dottie
Dottie is a sweet Husky-Greyhound mix (best guess), around 3 years old. She belonged to a friend of ours who passed away, and we’ve been caring for her during a period of transition.She is smart, house-trained, crate-trained, and food motivated. Her vaccines are up to date. She is not overly vocal like your typical husky. When she barks, she is usually communicating a need. She enjoys long walks, daytime naps, and zoomies right before bed.Dottie can pull on leash and has some separation anxiety, which is understandable given her recent changes. She has done well with slow introductions and continued training around boundaries with food and toys.We do not have other pets or children in the home, but she's done well around calm dogs, like on parallel walks with friends. We've had friends visit with small children and she's done well.Dottie has been through a lot over the past few months and we're hoping to find her a calm and consistent home, where she can continue to rest.
