Nicholas is the kind of dog who makes himself comfortable in your heart very quickly. He is affectionate, social, and absolutely convinced that butt scratches should be a full-time job for his humans. He enjoys meeting people, already knows several commands, and has the confidence of a dog who assumes everyone he meets might become his new best friend. He has done well out on walks, enjoys exploring, and has shown relaxed, friendly body language while spending time with staff. Nicholas also appears to have a goofy side, especially when attention is involved, and he is not shy about asking for more love once he knows you are willing to give it. Nicholas is looking for a home that understands him and can help set him up for success. He would likely do best as the only pet in the home, where he does not have to worry about sharing food, toys, or attention with other animals. In return, he is more than ready to soak up all the love for himself.
