Sycamore A18406324 lb. neutered male, approx 6 months old -This sweet boy came in unsure of the world, and it showed—everything felt a little big and a little scary at first. But he’s already starting to settle in and show glimpses of the playful puppy he’s meant to be.-He’ll need someone who understands that trust takes time. Quick movements can still make him nervous, so going slow and letting him come to you will go a long way. The good news? He wants to connect. Snacks have been a great bridge—he wasn’t sure about taking them from my hand at first, but before long, he was giving it a try.-Once he feels a bit more comfortable, his softer side comes out. He enjoys gentle pets and has even started nudging for more when he’s feeling brave. And when you engage him, you’ll see that spark—he’ll bounce and pounce with excitement, like he’s just figuring out how to “puppy.” Toys are still a mystery to him, but he’s getting there.-He can be a little unsure around other dogs, so if there’s a resident pup, slow and thoughtful introductions will be important to help him feel safe.-Like any puppy, he’ll need guidance, patience, and consistency as he learns the ropes—but he’s already showing he’s willing to try.
