Marcie is a sweet, loving, and deeply affectionate girl who just wants to feel safe and loved. She was found as a stray and has a history of abuse, so she needs a patient home where she can truly settle in and trust the people around her. She loves to snuggle and curl up next to youMarcie is very high energy and food motivated. She loves being active and needs a fenced yard where she can run and sunbathe. She responds well to food-based training and has a lot of potential, she just needs someone consistent and patient to guide her. She can be skittish at times (sometimes hesitant to cross doorways) and is still building her confidence. She needs someone patient and experienced.She does great with other dogs and cats. Has never been around children. At first she is shy, but she is a true lovebug once she warms upCurrent financial circumstances impose a problem on being able to give Marcie a stable home.
