Meet Angel š¾
Angel is a 3-year-old pit bull who came to us as a stray. Although we were able to contact her microchipped owner, they never returned to pick her upāso now Angel is ready for a fresh start with a family who will truly commit to her.
Angel is a high-energy, excited girl who is always eager to get out of her kennel and explore. She can be strong on leash and pulls from excitement, so sheāll benefit from continued training and structure to help her channel that energy.
In the shelter, Angel may bark at other dogs passing by her kennel, likely out of excitement or feeling the need to protect her space. She is very food motivated, but can get a bit overzealousāshe may jump or āsharkā for treats, so sheāll need guidance to learn polite manners.
Angel can also be a little mouthy or nibbly at times, especially when excited, so a home with no small children is recommended. Sheāll do best with an adopter who can provide consistent training, clear boundaries, and plenty of outlets for her energy.
Despite her high energy, Angel is a fun, engaging dog who is ready to learn and bond with her person. With patience and structure, she has the potential to become a loyal and well-mannered companion š¶š
