Meet cora
We are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for our 4-year-old pitbull rescue. She has been an incredibly loved member of our family, and this decision is purely about safety and giving her the environment she needs to thrive. About her:
• House-trained and no crate needed
• Very athletic-loves running, exercise, and playtime
• Has done great in dog daycare and loves other dogs, lives w/ 1 now
• Extremely loving and gentle with her family, including our older child
What she needs:
She struggles with anxiety, especially around feeling like she needs to "protect" the home. While she is friendly with people outside the home, she can become fearful and reactive (barking, pacing, raised hackles) when new people enter her space.
Ideal home:
• No infants or very young children
• Experienced dog owner (especially with anxious dogs)
• A quieter home with fewer visitors or someone willing to work with a trainer
• Active lifestyle
