***Local adoption only: Dunkaroo needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking him to his follow-up vetting appointments for remaining vaccines and neuter with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments have already been scheduled and their cost is covered in the adoption donation.***

Hi, I’m Dunkaroo! I'm a Boston Terrier blend and I'm just 3 months old. We don't know how big I'll grow to be yet, but I'm already a strapping 6 pounds. Part Kangaroo, part Dunkin Donuts-level of sweetness, I'm just your typical puppy who loves snacks, snuggles, toys, and playtime and who is looking for someone who will love me forever. 

Favorite Things: Dunkaroo is all puppy. He loves toys: the more, the merrier (particularly if he can chew them). He is an active and energetic pup, loves playtime and he is a bit of a foodie. 

Training & Manners: This smart cookie has learned a lot in his three months, but he still has some tricks to pick up. He needs more practice with housetraining, leash-walking, etc. He will need an adopter who is experienced with large breed dogs and who is active and willing to put in the training that is needed to raise a large breed puppy. 

Health & Care: Dunkaroo is a healthy pup! He will just need an adopter who will commit to taking him to his final puppy vetting appointments (including neuter).  These have already been scheduled with PPR’s vet partner in Central Florida and are covered by his adoption donation. As far grooming goes, this easygoing guy shouldn't need too much elaborate grooming. 

Other Animals: An energetic, gregarious guy, Dunkaroo does well with other playful dogs

Children: This bouncy guy gets along well with older children (ages 8+) who can match his activity level. 

Ideal Home: This sweet guy would do best in a single family home, because he is still adjusting to being left alone as a young puppy so he barks and cries when left alone.
