Meet augie
Augie, 7 years old, approximately 18 lbs. Augie is slowly coming around after being surrendered to a high kill shelter by his owner, supposedly for biting him when he touched his ear. We noticed that Augie has a terrible ear infection. If he did even bite, it could have been out of pain. People who care take these things into consideration. Augie came to us very fearful and shut down, he is slowly showing signs of feeling safe. You can see it in his face and eyes already, that he is relaxing. Augie is going to need a calm, patient, and loving person who will give him time and space. An adult home is best. Possibly another calm dog who will show Augie that life isn't all bad. Augie loves walks!!
