š¾ Meet Echo š¾
Echo is a 4.5-year-old Blue Heeler mix with a sharp mind, a big personality, and a heart thatās slowly learning how to trust again. At around 65 pounds, this handsome guy may look tough at first glance ā but underneath it all is a sensitive, intelligent dog who just wants to feel safe with his people.
When Echo first arrived at the shelter, the world felt overwhelming for him. He was fearful, reactive, and unsure of the unfamiliar environment around him. But with patience, consistency, and a lot of love from staff and volunteers, Echo has made incredible progress and continues to show us more of the amazing dog he truly is every single day š
Once he knows youāre a friend, Echo transforms into an affectionate, goofy cuddle bug who thinks he absolutely belongs in your lap. Heās incredibly smart and already knows an impressive list of commands including sit, lay down, shake (with BOTH paws!), speak, stay, come, and more. Weāre still discovering all the things this clever boy knows!
Echo would thrive with an adopter who understands herding breeds and can give him time to settle in, build trust, and continue growing. Heāll need a home with older children and would likely do best without cats or small animals. In return, youāll gain an unbelievably loyal companion who bonds deeply with his people and loves with his whole heart š¶āØ
