Meet lydia

Lydia, oh Lydia, oh have you met Lydia? Lydia the polka-dot foxhound!Hi, there - I'm Lydia! I'm a 48-pound goofy snuggle bug looking for my forever family! My favorite place to be is snuggled up next to my human, burrowed allllllll the way under a blanket. I can't help but wag my tail at new people - anyone who wants to give me pets is an instant friend. My favorite days are spent napping, sniffing around the neighborhood on a moderate walk or sniffari, and chewing on a toy or treat.I love to run around and chase a squeaky ball from time to time, but not for too long before I'm ready to cuddle right up next to you. Sometimes I forget to bring the ball back - I get so excited to squeak it as much as I want!! My head and ears are super soft, which is lucky for me because that's my favorite place for pets. I have lots of super cute polka dots all over my tummy, which make their grand debut every spring.I am house-trained and perfectly happy to be left on my own for a while, especially if I can cozy into a comfy couch or bed (dog or human bed is fine!) I know sit, down, stay, wait, and "watch me!"I tend to get nervous around young kids and their unpredictability, so I need to be in a home without them. But I love all grownup humans - even older kids and teenagers are my friends! I get along fine with other dogs with similarly calm vibes, or would be totally content as an only dog.If you're looking for an affectionate, silly, lowkey companion, I'd love to wag my way into your heart! 🐶❤️-------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
