Meet sammy
I rescued Sammy through the Big Dog Ranch in Florida 4 years ago when he was approximately 1 and 1/2 years old. He loves to be loved on. He is very protective and will bark at anybody or anything that tries to get too close. His weight is 54 pounds. He dislikes taking a bath or having his nails clipped. He needs a place where he can runaround and play. I have to move into a small apartment and can no longer take him on walks because he tends to try and pull me when he spots a cat and at 74 years old it’s hard to contain him. The first time meeting him he will bark at you and then jump on you for you to pet him and play with him. He has never bit anyone or even tried to bite anyone. But he is a little intimidating because of his size. All in all, I think he would be a great dog especially with teenagers.
