**CHARLIE CHAPLIN WANTS TO WIN HIS WAY INTO YOUR LIFE**

Meet Charlie. He needs to be your best friend and will make a fantastic one at that! So… stop looking… your search is over! Charlie Chaplin is a very handsome red and white terrier mix with an estimated birthday of 1/01/22. He weighs about 57 pounds, is heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccinations and preventatives. If you’re looking for a best buddy full of sweetness and love, you’ve found him! He's a super calm soul who will follow you from room to room. No drama, no chaos, just steady gentle loyalty.

During assessment at a local park we found out:
* Charlie walked very well on both a short and long leash
* He passed the ‘geese test’, walking by without giving them much notice
* He didn’t show much interest at all to the dogs he passed
* Charlie was friendly to any human who came near.
* Overall Charlie has nothing short of a spectacular personality. He’s very fun and athletic.

Charlie's patience and calm presence set him apart. He's proof that sometimes the deepest love comes from the quietest places.

Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.

We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.

Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.

Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.

The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
