Meet Tchibo!

This sweet baby NEEDS YOU!!! She was saved from a horrible situation where she was dumped with her mom, dad, and siblings in the road at Fort Coffee in an impoverished and bad area known for dog rings and other nefarious events. While she IS safe, she is in desperate need of a family and a home life. She’s been living at the farm in a barn-kennel situation ever since so she doesn't know what's it's like to lay on the couch, have a yard to run free in or to have a family who loves her. And she absolutely deserves to have that! Please consider helping this beautiful soul find that happiness.

Tchibo is a female Hound/Pointer mix born around 03/29/23!
* She is spayed!
* She weighs about 40 pounds
* She’s fully up to date on her vaccines and preventatives!
* She’s a shy, non-pushy girl.
* She’s great with other dogs!

Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.

We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.

Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.

Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.

The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
