Hey all – I’m Mason!
I’m a boxer mix – a very handsome one at that (if I do say so myself). I was picked up with another dog by the dog catcher and taken to the pound, where my owner abandoned me. I was sad and lonely and up for euthanasia when TAP took me in and rescued me! Although I’m SO grateful for that, I dream of a home I can call my own with a family who will love me for life, like I SO deserve.
I was born around 01/17/22 and weigh 58 lbs. I’m already neutered, heartworm negative and UTD on vaccines and preventatives. I’m a super sweet boy who will melt your heart if you just give me the chance. I have a very friendly and gentle nature and am great with other dogs. I love to play, and play, and play. I absolutely adore people – all of them!
I’ve been waiting for a long time to be loved and to finally have a proper home. Will you please give me a chance! I won’t let you down!!
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
