Meet maddie
💗 Name: Maddie
📅 Intake Date: 10/3/24
🎂 Birthday (DOB): 10/4/22
✂️ Altered: Yes
🩺 Heartworm Status: Negative
⚖️ Weight: 44 lbs
🐾 Good with other dogs? Yes
🐈 Good with cats? No
👦 Good with kids? Unknown
🐕 Leash Trained? Yes
🏠 House Trained? Yes
Maddie is a sweetheart who loves being part of the everyday action. After being left behind at an overcrowded pound, a foster stepped up and that’s when her true personality began to shine.
She’s completely house trained, uses a doggie door, gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, and loves chasing toys. Maddie can be a little enthusiastic when greeting people, but settles nicely and is just as happy relaxing beside you for ear scratches. She also sleeps well in a crate.
Maddie doesn’t need a packed schedule. She’d be perfectly content with a walk, some company, and a comfortable spot beside her people.
---------------
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION:

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!
