Meet Betsy — A Golden Girl Ready to Be Your Queen Betsy is a senior dog looking for a quiet, loving home where she can enjoy her days soaking up sunshine and lounging in all her favorite cozy spots. She came to us from a loving home that could no longer keep up with her needs as she’s gotten older. Betsy enjoys a peaceful lifestyle and is happiest when she can relax and be close to her people. She does like children, but she can struggle with resource guarding at times, which is important to keep in mind when getting to know her. Betsy is currently in foster care, where she’s receiving extra love and comfort while waiting for her perfect retirement home.Betsy would do best in a home where she can be the only pet and truly rule her castle. A calm environment with an adopter who understands her quirks and can meet her needs will help her feel safe and comfortable. Providing her with routine, respect for her space, and plenty of cozy places to rest will allow her to thrive.
