04/16/2026 Hi all Star again, finally getting a moment to check in from my cozy foster home. Its been about a week, and let me tell you, life has already improved quite a bit since my kiddos and I said goodbye to that North Dakota weather. First things first, Ive gotta give a big tail wag and thank you to Furry Friends Rockin Rescue for getting us out of there and into a warm, safe place. Foster mom says Im an easygoing gal. Im happy to stroll nicely on a leash, take care of my business outside, and then just hang out while you go about your day. Im not one to cause a fuss but I do like to keep things interesting. Apparently, Im what she calls meticulous. She swears she can see the gears turning in my head when Im plotting my next move, like figuring out how to explore beyond my little area or maybe check out whats up on the counter. What can I say? I like to think things through. Smart girl energy. Ive already learned how to sit, and Im working on being the best version of myself every day. As for other dogs well lets just say Im currently not interested in making new friends. Foster mom thinks Im just in full-on mama mode, looking out for my babies. And speaking of my babies, I love them, I really do, but wow, those tiny teeth are no joke. Between usIm kind of counting down the days until theyre ready to do their own thing. The plan is that once my pups are bigger and off to their own adventures, Ill get spayed and start the next chapter of my life, finding my forever home. And if youve made it this far, maybe that chapter could be with you. Ill be here, relaxing and maybe just a little bit plotting my next move. 04/11/2026 Meet Star Our beautiful new Labrador mama just arrived all the way from North Dakota, and were so glad shes safe with us. Right now, her focus is on caring for her puppies, and shell remain with us until theyre fully weaned and she can be spayed.
