- Very sweet lady who loves people, attention and cuddles - Loves stuffies, especially the ones that squeak, and is dedicated to freeing the squeakers - Always excited for something new to play with - Super smart and an expert at fetch - Walks nicely on a leash and loves going on long walks to explore new places and smell all the smells - Likes playing in water - Does great in the car - May need extra time to warm up to new people and things and will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time; may also prefer a calm, quiet home- Can be nervous going into her crate at first, but settles down well with time - Looking for a home where all family members are fluent in dog body language and will understand when she indicates she is uncomfortable in a situation (looking for a teens-and-up home right now)- Can be uncomfortable and awkward around other dogs and may need some time to warm up; also may prefer some dogs over others and would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro required) - Has been diagnosed with arthritis in both knees (more info at ARL) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
