Meet mia
Meet Mia. A female mini Australian shepherd. She will be 5 years old this summer. We purchased her from a breeder as a puppy. She has lived with us in the woods on 5 acres her whole life. She enjoys the outdoors, loves snuggles and her evening time zoomies with our other two male dogs. She is spayed and had all the vaccines as a puppy. We did not continue vaccinations since.
Mia is a bit anxious and scared which leads us to this difficult decision to rehome her. She is terrified of strangers, cars driving in the driveway and leaves falling from the trees. She gets along great with our other dogs. However she takes her herding genetics a bit too seriously. We have chickens, ducks and goats on our property, which she has chased down and bitten multiple times causing injury to the animals.
Three years ago, her anxiety, has also led her to bite two men (delivery servicemen) at separate occasions.
She has never bitten anyone in the family (we have two kids) or our other dogs.
