Meet Bruno!Bruno is a 55lb, 2-year-old, APBT mix who was surrendered to the shelter due to having issues with another dog in the home. This high-energy boy is always ready for action—whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or just burning off some steam in the yard. He’s both house trained and crate trained, which gives him a great foundation for settling into a new home.Bruno has lived in a home before and does best with clear structure and guidance. He can be a bit protective over his belongings, so he’ll need an experienced owner who understands resource guarding and can continue working with him in a positive, consistent way.In terms of companions, Bruno prefers to keep his circle small. He has done well with female dogs but does not get along with male dogs, and due to his past experiences, he would likely thrive as the only dog in the home. Cats are not his thing, either. He can be around children, but his energy tends to match theirs—so if things get loud and active, Bruno may get a bit overexcited.Bruno is looking for a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, structure, and patience. In the right environment, he has all the potential to be a fun-loving companion who will bring energy and excitement to your life every day.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
