FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Calliope is one of our long-timers, and has been waiting for a foster or her forever home with us for 3 years!
She is an energetic and playful girl and will make her forever family very happy! Calliope is a Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix, she weighs around 60 lbs and is ~4 years old.
Calliope is active, and she will need a family that can keep her properly exercised. She loves the outdoors, and would make a great hiking or running partner! She would love her very own fenced yard to run and play with her family.
Calliope is very sweet and can get over excited, especially in a kennel environment, she will thrive in a home that can provide continued support of basic obedience and working on not jumping when excited. Because she is large and jumpy, we are recommending no small children as she could accidently knock them over.
Calliope has been doing great on walks with other dog friends in our care. She is not tested with cats. Calliope is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.
