Hello, my name is Black Dahlia. My original family abandoned me at my rescuers house after she was supposed to babysit me for one day and they left me for 3 weeks before they finally said “find her a new home” even though my rescuer was a little upset, she had me vetted, microchipped and treated for Giardia, I was socialized with a bunch of other friends at the rescue. I am old enough for a home of my own and she hopes that I find a home soon so she doesn’t get too attached because I am bossy, playful and Spunky! I even have a foster father named Marvin The one eyed duck! I like to cuddle and sleep with him at night rather than cuddle and sleep with anyone else in the rescue. I’m a very easy-going puppy, but I do have a mild fear of baths and blow dryers it is unknown if I was abused in anyway, but since being at the rescue, I’m very happy and healthy and always excited to make new friends. I can be shy in the beginning, but once I get to know you I open up pretty quickly. If you think I would make a great addition to your family please contact my rescuer with the information directly above my story and schedule a time to meet me.
