Gracie is a sweet 10-year-old mixed breed who is looking for a new forever home filled with love, patience, and comfort.She originally belonged to my husband, who passed away from lung cancer in December. Since then, I’ve done her best to care for her, but due to a recent move into a one-bedroom apartment and mobility issues with my knee, I’m no longer able to give Gracie the life she deserves.Gracie is a gentle, loyal companion who thrives in a calm environment. She would do especially well with someone who enjoys a slower pace of life—whether that’s relaxing at home, short walks, or just having a sweet dog by your side. She has years of love left to give and deserves a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.We are trying everything we can to avoid taking her to a shelter, as we want to make sure she finds a home where she’ll truly be cherished.PS, she loves loves loves belly scratches.
