Adoptable Alert! Meet Chip!
This 4-year-old Labradoodle (ish) has quite the story. He was a surprise stowaway during a breeder surrender —he just knew he was ready for a better life, and our team couldn't leave him behind!
Chip is currently living his best life yet in foster care but is looking for his forever home. As you can see from his photos, this guy is absolutely over the moon to finally have human love.
Chip is officially ready to find his forever people. Here is what his perfect match looks like:
🏠 Professional Snuggler: He wants to share your couch, your bed, and your heart. He’s looking for someone who loves a velcro dog!
🚗Adventure Buddy: He travels like a pro! If you want a co-pilot for road trips or errands, Chip is your guy.
🌳The Great Outdoors: A physical fence is a must. Chip gets the zoomies and needs a safe space to do his happy laps.
🤝Company Preferred: He needs someone patient enough to teach him that you’ll always come back.
🐕🦺👧Friends & Family: He can be an only dog or live with a well-matched buddy. He’s curious about kids but a little shy, so a home that understands he needs a slow intro to fast-moving little ones is best.
✂️ Grooming King: Being a doodle, he needs a spa day every 6–8 weeks (approx. $100/visit) to keep that coat handsome and mat-free.
Chip is still learning big dog basics like potty schedules, not jumping when excited, and commands like sit and shake. He doesn't use a crate in foster care. It is unknown how he would do with cats.
