Meet Liberty Birdie Birdie is a gentle, soulful girl who keeps her tender heart a little guarded when meeting new peopleNever aggressive just unsure. But if you give her a few days, youll start to see her personality quietly shine through. Once she feels safe and settles into a routine, Birdie absolutely loves being close to her person. Shell curl up beside you on the couch and, every now and then, softly place her paw on you with a tilted head as if to ask, Is now a good time for some scratches? Its her quiet, endearing way of connecting. Birdie is about 4 years old and has a wonderfully calm, nature. She enjoys chewing on a bone and may toss it around a bit, but she hasnt quite discovered the joy of toys just yet. Shes great with dogs of all sizes and does well with people of all ages. Shes also proven to be very trustworthy in the home and hasnt needed a crate when left alone. Birdies ideal home would be with someone a little patient who is willing to give her a week or so to decompress and show her true self. A fenced yard would be a huge bonus to help her continue building confidence. While she gets along nicely with other dogs, what she truly craves is a deep, human connection. She walks wonderfully on leash and will be a great walking buddy but is also content to skip walks and lay at your feet. If youre looking for a loyal, loving companion who will form a quiet but meaningful bond, Birdie just might be your girl.
