**Meet Starry Knight**

Starry Knight is a sweet, affectionate boy with a gentle, easygoing personality. One of his favorite ways to say hello is by putting his front paws on your chest for a hug and some attention. While he enjoys playtime, he's generally a low-key companion who is happiest spending time with his people.

In foster care, Starry Knight has been an absolute star. He got along wonderfully with children and has shown himself to be friendly and non-reactive with everyone he has met, including other dogs on walks. Because he's a larger dog who doesn't always realize his size, he may accidentally knock over very young children when he's excited or chasing after someone running.

This handsome guy is a toy enthusiast and self-proclaimed connoisseur of fun. He loves tennis balls, excels at fetch, enjoys tug-of-war, and plays gently with stuffed toys without destroying them. He also enjoys chewing on a bone and relaxing on the couch after a day of adventures.

Starry Knight has settled nicely into a home environment. After an understandably anxious first night, he quickly adjusted, slept through the night in his crate, and has had no accidents or destructive behavior since. He rides well in the car, enjoys looking out the window, and approaches new experiences with curiosity and charm—including ceiling fans, mirrors, and just about anything interesting he discovers along the way.
