Meet Peach 🍑 — your tiny shadow with a big heart.
Peach is a young chihuahua mix, under a year old and around 10 pounds, looking for a very special home where she can truly feel safe and loved. This little girl forms deep bonds with her people and thrives when she can be close—she’s happiest curled up beside you or following you from room to room like your devoted sidekick.
Because of how much she loves her humans, Peach does struggle with separation anxiety. She’ll need a home where someone is around most of the time and willing to help her continue building confidence. In return, you’ll get unmatched loyalty and a constant companion who just wants to be by your side.
Peach has done well in a secure, fenced area, but she is also quite the little escape artist. Because of this, a properly fitted harness or collar and a leash are a must for any outdoor adventures if a fence is not available. She is currently afraid of a leash and will need patience and gentle guidance to build confidence.
When it comes to other dogs, Peach prefers calm, easygoing companions. She enjoys occasional playtime but isn’t a fan of high-energy or overly anxious dogs. She’s extremely submissive and communicates clearly when she’s had enough, using a little growl or showing her teeth to set boundaries—she just needs respectful dog friends who understand her cues.
She can be a bit picky with food, but she’s never shown any food aggression and happily shares toys and treats.
