Meet Skye!🐾Skye is the definition of a "gentle soul." At nine years young, this Siberian Husky mix has a heart as big as her striking eyes - though she's currently navigating a bit of a rough patch. After her previous owner was hospitalized, Skye found herself in our care, and we are determined to find her the peaceful "forever" she deserves.💖Why You'll Fall for HerSkye is a sweet, low-key lady who has mastered the art of being a companion. Unlike the typical high-octane Husky, Skye is perfectly content with a slower pace of life. She's gentle-mannered, affectionate, and would thrive in a home where she can be the center of someone's world.🩺 A Special Request: Foster-to-AdoptSkye is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. Because the recovery process requires her to stay calm and relaxed, the loud shelter environment isn't ideal for her healing. We are looking for a Foster-to-Adopt home where she can finish her treatment in comfort. This means:-Rest & Relaxation: She needs a quiet environment to keep her heart rate low.-The Only Apple of Your Eye: She prefers to be the only dog, though she can tolerate other very calm dogs (which fits her current "low energy" lifestyle).-Medical Support: We will guide you through her treatment steps until she is officially cleared and ready for full adoption.
