And not just casual snuggling…we’re talking full-on, curl-up-tight, tuck-himself-under-the-covers, “is that a dog or a burrito?” level commitment. Bedtime with Merlin means you’ll never sleep alone again (whether you planned on it or not).

Merlin is pretty much house-trained and just needs a little adjustment period in a new home. Give him a consistent schedule, and he’ll settle in quickly—he’s smart and eager to please, especially when it means more time close to his person. He’s food motivated (his love language is snacks), which is helping him learn the ropes. He’s currently working on a few commands and is this close to having “sit” nailed down—he just appreciates a little tasty encouragement along the way.

When it’s “let’s go outside” time, Merlin gets excited and is happy to let you leash him up for a walk or head out to the backyard. Merlin does well with other dogs his size or smaller. He’ll play a little, but overall, he prefers to be right next to his person—snuggled up and soaking in the love. He’s gentle, easygoing, and brings a peaceful kind of joy to a home. Whether it’s a lazy afternoon nap or a cozy night in, Merlin is happiest when he’s right there with you…possibly under your blanket.
