Meet ziggy
Ziggy is a tiny 8-pound, 15-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. Like any distinguished gentleman, he comes with a few lumps and bumps—but don’t worry, they’ve all been checked out and are completely benign. His heart is strong.
Ziggy may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, you’ll see just how sweet and gentle he truly is. He’s happiest curled up in a cozy spot, snoozing the day away, but don’t let his age fool you—he still gets little bursts of energy and will happily prance around when he’s feeling good.
He’s not a fan of stairs or jumping, so a home without too many obstacles would be perfect for him. He especially enjoys being waited on hand and foot—his ideal day includes being picked up to lounge on the couch beside you and being carried down the deck stairs to go potty in the grass.
Ziggy gets along just fine with other dogs and would do well in a calm, patient home that understands he’s earned the right to take life at his own pace.
Ziggy does best on a low-fat diet and will need routine bloodwork to monitor his liver, kidney, and pancreatic values—just a little extra care to keep him feeling his best.
Ziggy will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $100.
