Meet Raymada, affectionately nicknamed “Spooky” for her sensitive and observant nature. While new sights and sounds can still surprise her—like loud noises, doorways, or unfamiliar objects—she’s making steady, impressive progress and growing more confident each day.
Once she feels safe, Spooky’s sweet and affectionate side shines. She loves curling up on the couch for cuddles and forms strong bonds quickly—she warmed up to her foster family in just a couple of days. She’s the kind of dog who thrives with a little patience and quickly rewards it with loyalty and love.
Spooky is a well-mannered companion with a solid foundation. She walks beautifully on leash with little to no pulling, rides calmly in the car, and knows basic commands like “sit” and “no.” She’s highly food-motivated, making her eager to continue learning and training. She’s also fully potty trained and crate trained, often choosing her crate as a safe, cozy retreat when she needs a break.
She gets along well with other dogs and has shown calm, friendly curiosity around cats, suggesting she could do well in a variety of homes. Her only quirk is a bit of excited jumping when greeting her people—she just loves you that much and is already working on it.
