Meet gretna
Gretna is a happy, people-focused girl with the most adorably goofy run, especially when she's racing back to her favorite humans. Sweet to her core, Gretna loves affection and will happily wrap herself around your legs asking for scritches. In playgroups, she's been respectful and easygoing with both male and female dogs. True to her hound nature, Gretna spends much of her time happily sniffing along the yard's edges, occasionally joining in for quick play sessions before returning to her important scent investigations. She seems like a wonderful match for most friendly, medium-energy dogs and would love a family to adore.Although she is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $600 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment.
