Stanley arrived in a very “you’re not going to believe this” kind of way—he simply showed up on a gravel road outside of town and decided that the nearest home looked like a good place to introduce himself. The kind family there brought him in, but unfortunately no one ever came forward, so his past is a bit of a mystery.

What we do know is that Stanley is just a genuinely good-natured, happy-go-lucky young dog. We’re guessing he’s a wire-haired terrier mix, likely around 9 months to 1 year old. He’s got that youthful energy and curiosity, paired with an easy social personality that makes him quick to warm up to anyone he meets.

Stanley doesn’t know a stranger—everyone is a friend in his eyes—and he’s always ready for attention, affection, and whatever adventure is next. He seems adaptable and would likely do well in a variety of homes, especially with someone who can continue guiding him through his young-dog stage and help him build on his manners and training.
