HOW TO ADOPT: This animal is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Very sweet and friendly guy who just wants attention and love; can seem stoic at times, but enjoys being petted and being wherever people are - Knows sit- Can be startled when he's disturbed while resting, so he may benefit from having a separate area to sleep or rest - May be a bit socially awkward with other dogs; seems to prefer low-key dog friends, and may prefer to be the only dog in his new home (dog intro required)- We don't know his history with cats This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
