Meet pumpkin
5-year-old spayed female Dachshund/Blue Heeler mix (born Oct 2019). Adopted at 6 months old. She is very intelligent, loyal, affectionate in a familiar environment, and enjoys puzzle toys, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. She bonds closely with her person and thrives with structure and predictability.
She is dog-reactive and needs to be the only pet. She is also sensitive to loud noise, sudden movement, and rough handling, so an adult-only home is strongly preferred. She does best in a calm, low-traffic environment with an experienced owner comfortable managing an anxious dog.
Medical: blind in one eye from early cataracts (evaluated by veterinary ophthalmologist; cosmetic and non-painful). History of urinary crystals/UTIs, currently stable.
Ideal home: adult-only, no other pets, quiet environment, experienced owner.
