WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals’ lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care. Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. She would do best in a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell at her own pace. Her ideal family will recognize that building trust takes time and will allow her to open up naturally, offering reassurance, consistency, and lots of gentle love. Tien would truly benefit from having another dog in her home. A calm, friendly canine companion could help boost her confidence, provide comfort, and show her the ropes as she continues adjusting to her new environment. Having a buddy around may also encourage her to come out of her shell more quickly and feel more secure in her day-to-day routine.
