Vanilla’s story begins in the mountains of Puerto Rico, where she and her siblings were found abandoned—hungry, uncared for, and in constant danger of passing cars. At just 3 months old and 12 pounds, she has already faced more uncertainty than any puppy should ever know.
But despite it all, Vanilla’s spirit is as soft and sweet as her name. She greets the world with gentle eyes, a wagging tail, and a heart full of love. There’s no bitterness in her—only trust, warmth, and a quiet hope that someone will finally choose her.
Vanilla is the kind of puppy who will melt into your arms after a long day, follow you with quiet devotion, and remind you daily of the beauty of resilience. She didn’t get the start she deserved—but she’s ready for the life she does deserve.
All she needs now is a safe place, a loving home, and someone to show her that she’ll never be left behind again. She is still in Puerto Rico but will be transported to the States for foster or her forever home.
