Meet Peanut! This little Chihuahua is 6-7 pounds and is estimated to be around 1-2 years old. Peanut came to Tiny Paws Rescue extremely underweight after being found as a stray and turned into the county shelter. He’s been soaking up all the love and TLC in his foster home ever since. Now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to thrive! 💙

Peanut is a happy, outgoing little guy who has never met a stranger. He instantly warms up to everyone he meets and is just so incredibly friendly. Peanut is sweet, affectionate, and cuddly, making him the perfect little companion for someone looking for a loyal “shadow.” He’s the kind of dog who will happily curl up in your lap after a day of playing with his toys in the yard. Despite his playful and social side, he’s also quiet--his foster mom has never heard him bark!

He is almost housetrained and should get the rest of the way there in a short amount of time:)

Peanut is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Applications from outside this area may be considered under certain circumstances. Please note that non-local applications will be reviewed only after all local applications have been thoroughly evaluated.
