Miley was an owner surrender. She was kept in a crate while her owners were away at work. They loved her and took good care of her but felt bad about keeping her in a crate for such long hours and felt she deserved better. Miley is a good natured girl and takes treats gently. She knows how to do a sit, down and roll over. She loves to run in the play yard and loves her squeaky toys. She is also a face licker/kisser, big time tail wagger, and a "hugger". She gets along with other dogs. She would do great in a home with an active family. As Miley is still young, her playfulness might be too much for very young children who are not used to being around dogs so please keep that in mind but otherwise Miley is a terrific girl. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Miley is about 8 months old and 27 pounds.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Miley's adoption fee is $500. This also covers all her other age-appropriate shots (distempers, bordetella, rabies, etc), microchipping and vetting (spay, dewormer, preventatives, etc).

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
