I’m about 5 years old. Around 50 pounds. Spayed. I’ve got a gentle way about me that shows up in everything I do.
I’m a sweet girl. That part comes easy. What I’m still working on is confidence.
I spent over two months in a shelter, and that kind of place stays with you for a bit. I can startle at new sounds or quick movements. But when I get unsure, I don’t run away from people. I run to them.
I look for safety. I look for someone kind.
Once I settle in, you’ll see a whole different side of me. Tail wags. Kisses. A relaxed, happy version of me that was always there, just waiting for the right space to come out.
I don’t need chaos. I don’t need pressure. I need someone patient who lets me take a breath, look around, and realize I’m okay.
With other dogs, I do best with calm, supervised introductions on leash so I can feel secure and not overwhelmed.
What I want is simple. A steady home. A soft voice. A person who understands that confidence is built over time.
Give me that, and I’ll stay close, love deeply, and choose you every single day.
