​Meet Iceland – Your Future Heart Dog ❄️

At 43 lbs. of pure love, Iceland is a petite 2-year-old Husky who adores everyone she meets — and the feeling is always mutual. 💕

She’s the perfect blend of playful spirit and devoted companion—equally happy exploring on walks, throwing toys in the air out in the yard, or curling up beside you for a quiet night in.

Iceland’s story hasn’t been easy. She was recently rescued from a neglect situation where she was living with multiple dogs, and then spent time in a crowded shelter before making her way to safety just two weeks ago. When she arrived, she was battling a UTI and Giardia—but she’s already on the mend and showing everyone just how strong and resilient she is. ❤️

Since then, she’s had a professional grooming and is feeling so much better—more comfortable, more confident, and ready to enjoy being a dog again.

Now in a foster home, we’re still learning about her. What we do know is that she loves people and is incredibly affectionate. She sleeps through the night with free roam and has been showing solid house manners. As she decompresses and settles in, we are thoughtfully assessing how she does with other dogs.

Because she’s had a lot of change in a short time, she’ll benefit from a patient, loving home where she can continue to feel safe and supported.
