Meet fatz
Ready for a sad story? Fatz was brought into the shelter as a stray, and despite having a microchip, no one came to bring him home. We don't know why they didn't or couldn't come but it's devastating to go from having a family to being in a shelter.
Fatz was very sick when we pulled him so, while he's fully recovered now, we are finally starting to get to know this boy's full personality.
Easy on the leash, responsive to treats and training, dedicated, loyal, and affectionate with people. Fatz has all the hallmarks of an excellent companion. He has not been fully introduced to other dogs because he was sick for so long, but he's showing signs he would be best as an only dog.
We can never know his full story but it's clear he's recovering from more than just an upper respiratory infection. Fatz will continue to need patience and stability in order to settle into his new life so we're recommending there not be any small children in the home.
Can you be the safe space for Fatz? If you can, you'll be rewarded with your own adoring, loyal gremlin to carry you through life's ups and downs.
