Meet ru
Ru is a tri-pawd mini American Sheppard and Australian Sheppard mix. She has been with us for the last 6 years, since she was a puppy and is a part of our family. She is very loving, loyal, and always up for an adventure
A year ago, Ru lost her leg due to a freak accident that required amputation. She has recovered fully and loves playing frisbee and ball. She has no clue she used to have 4 legs!
Also a year ago, her humans had a baby. The combination of these two things has made Ru a little more anxious - if you know aussies, they are high anxiety dogs as it is - and we just feel we aren’t giving her the attention or life she deserves.
Ru would be best suited for a household that has no other dogs (cats are fine) and the family has a lot of time for walks, cuddles, and play. She does well with children, and with all humans in general. She does not get along with other dogs.
